Biblical Theology

After completing the course, the students are expected to be able to understand the foundational biblical theology of the Church, the history of the Early Church, the perennial question of the Historical Jesus, the ipsissima vox and the ipsissima verba of Jesus of Nazareth, the importance of the textual criticism of both the Old and the New Testament, the sources of the books of the Bible, the relationship of Old and New Testament, the history of the canon, and the importance of the various hermeneutical methods, both in the history of the Church and in modernity, and finally give correct answers on questions of today
